Heritage Valley Sewickley - Primary Care Office

Paul Slowik & Associates recently completed the design and construction documents for a new Primary Care Office at Heritage Valley Sewickley. The 6,500 square foot office will contain a new waiting area, 12 exam rooms, physician offices and staff support spaces. As part of the renovations, a new entrance vestibule will be constructed to serve as the main entrance for the public. The project, currently out to bid, has an anticipated construction start in February 2010.

Heritage Valley Beaver - Rehabilitation Suite
Paul Slowik & Associates recently completed the design and construction documents for a new Rehabilitation Suite on the fourth floor at Heritage Valley Beaver. The 10,000 square foot suite will contain 10 private beds, a rehab gym and multi-purpose room, as well as all required staff and patient support spaces. Construction is expected to start in December 2009 and be completed by May 2010.

Heritage Valley Beaver - Addition and Renovations

Paul Slowik & Associates completed design and construction documents for the new three story addition and renovations at Heritage Valley Beaver. The new main entry and the GI suite on the second floor of the 45,000 square foot addition opened in October 2009. The new 24,000 square foot, 42 bed Emergency Department, half of which is in the new addition and half of which was the former GI suite, will open in February 2010. The new 12,000 square foot Cardiac Cath Lab Suite located in the former Emergency Department will open in May 2010.

Heritage Valley Beaver - CT Suite
Paul Slowik & Associates completed the design and construction documents for the new CT Suite located at Heritage Valley Beaver. It features a backlit artificial sky view. The CT Suite was completed in 60 days and opened in October 2009.

Heritage Valley Beaver - Fluoroscopy Suite
Paul Slowik & Associates completed the design and construction documents for the new Fluoroscopy Suite located at Heritage Valley Beaver. The Fluoroscopy Suite is the first phase in the renovation of the radiology department, currently in master planning. The Suite opened in November 2009.

Paul Slowik & Associates completed the design and construction documents for the new Wound Care Center located at Heritage Valley Beaver. The 3,000 square foot suite contains a new waiting area, four exam rooms, staff support spaces and two hyperbaric chambers. The Wound Care Center will open in December 2009.

Construction is underway for American Eagle Outfitters's new Data Center in Warrendale, PA. The three-story, 45,000 square foot building is expected to be ready for occupancy in the Fall of 2006.

New Office Building for Waterfront Partners LLC

Paul Slowik & Associates was recently awarded the design contract for a new office building to be constructed on a three acre riverfront site in Morgantown, West Virginia. The building will have access to the existing walking and biking trail and provide riverfront patio areas for tenants.
The three story building, at 10,000 square feet per floor, will contain a mix of medical and professional law offices. Tenants will begin occupying the building in the first quarter of 2006.

Despite the cold winter, construction is progressing on this new car wash on McKnight Road in Ross Township. The Newave Auto Spa will feature two automatic bays, as well as a detailing and graphics shop. An early spring 2004 opening is projected.

The Village Shoppes of Cranberry
Phase One of Gigliotti Properties' new 27,000 square foot retail center is under construction in Cranberry Township at the intersection of Rochester Road and Route 19. Phase Two will contain over 19,000 square feet and is currently in the final construction document stage. Phase One is scheduled for an early spring 2004 opening with Phase Two following in early summer 2004.

Weirton Medical Center's New Medical Office Building Opens For Business
The recent ribbon cutting for the opening of the new Medical Office Building for Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, West Virginia was attended by Paul Slowik AIA, Principal in charge of the project.
Also in attendance from left to right are George M. Roig MD, President of WMC Medical Staff, William R. Kiefer, Chairman of the WMC Foundation, Larry Lombardi, Project Superintendent for Landau Building Company, Steve Bishop, Project Manager for Landau Building Company, Donald Muhlenthaler, President & CEO of WMC, Paul Slowik AIA, Joseph Endrich MD, Chairman of the WMC Corporate and Hospital Boards.
The project included a new 100,000 square foot, five story medical office building as well as a two story 10,000 square foot connector building containing the same-day surgery family waiting area and atrium. The total construction cost of $11,000,000 included approximately 60,000 square feet of tenant build-out.

Girty's Run Joint Sewer Authority's Ground Up Office Under Construction
Girty's Run Joint Sewer Authority's new ground up office in Ross Township,
Pennsylvania is currently under construction with a scheduled September 2003 completion date. The
5,000 square foot split face block building is being constructed on the authorities' existing pump
building and storage tank site on Babcock Boulevard. When completed this fall, the building will house
administrative offices and meeting space as well as three maintenance truck bays and maintenance staff areas.

Devlin Funeral Home Rises from the Ground in Cranberry
Devlin Funeral Home's new ground up location on Rochester Road in Cranberry Township,
Pennsylvania is currently under construction with a scheduled July 2003 completion date. The
traditionally designed brick building will contain four large viewing rooms, two lounges with ample
interior gathering space, one of which features a fireplace as well as a children's room along with
administrative and sales areas, all on one 8,000 square foot level.
